The Bubble & Squeak UK team is based in Soho and currently has five members of staff. Our US offices are in Boston and LA to better serve the needs of our clients coast to coast, and with a new office in Sydney we can offer a virtually round the clock service across the world.
Sadie Groom
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Sadie started off in printing PR and also worked in publishing and exhibitions before becoming European PR Manager for Avid. In 1999 she realised that a new agency was needed in the industry she loves, scribbled it all down on a napkin and Bubble & Squeak began! In 2001 Sadie was Runner-Up in PR Week’s Young PR Person of the Year competition and as her business has become more established Sadie has become highly regarded in the post production and broadcast industry. She is also a member of the Women In Film & TV, CIPR, a member of the Executive Committee of Vision Charity and a Volunteer for Make A Wish. Known for her lavish entertaining skills, she continues to work closely with her clients n their business and PR strategies resulting in great coverage and business sales.

Wendy Mattock
SENIOR ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
Wendy applied for a job at Avid in 1996 because she thought Pinewood Studios might be a glamorous place to work... Despite a swift reality check on that score, she was smitten by the fast-paced broadcast industry and over the last 13 years she has honed her marketing and PR skills at Avid, leading post-production facility Resolution, and of course Bubble & Squeak. Wendy has excellent writing skills and established media contacts. In her spare time Wendy loves watching old Disney movies with her son, pottering in the garden and playing the oboe in Thame Concert Band.

Natalie Besbrode
ACCOUNT MANAGER
Natalie started working in PR during the dotcom bubble, launching start-ups. When it burst, the bright lights of CGI beckoned and she joined Bubble & Squeak in 2001. For the last few years Natalie has been working as a freelancer in Consumer & B2B PR and has established herself as a radio presenter. She re-joins Bubble & Squeak, bringing her constant chatter, extensive contacts and fresh ideas for new and existing campaigns. Not great at sitting still, Natalie is learning the art of Parkour!

Paul Bodley
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Paul Bodley is Bubble & Squeak’s Account Executive. Having graduated in Creative Advertising in 2006, he quit doodling and turned to Public Relations to craft copy. He's passionate about the communications industry and is driven to utilise the media to create strong brands and effective messages by producing creative, exciting and engaging solutions to business problems (and is very amusing). Paul's previously worked in television production across shows such as Jonathan Ross, Paul O'Grady, Wife Swap and Faking It before venturing back into studying. When Paul isn't at his desk he enjoys playing the Viola, buying, collecting and wearing trainers and helps with a charity for disabled children.

Jo Peck
EVENTS MANAGER
Jo Peck joined the Bubbles to run our events department working on The Conch, Vision Charity Ball and The Music Producers Guild Awards. Jo brings a huge amount of events knowledge and worked on conferences and awards ceremonies for a variety of industries whilst based in Oxford. She then moved on to Avid where she was a part of the European Marketing team for five years with our very own Wendy Mattock. As well as looking after her little boy Oscar she is a whizz at finding cool hotels and restaurants.

Linzi Young
OFFICE MANAGER
Linzi joined Bubble & Squeak in November 2009, following a sabbatical in South Africa where she cared for baby elephants. She now gets to look after the Bubble staff and the smooth running of the office. With a degree in International Business and French , Linzi has over 6 years experience as an Events Manager, producing high profile corporate events in the UK and overseas. She also has a keen interest in Public Relations and the Broadcasting Industry.

Jane Johnston
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Jane Johnston has joined Bubble & Squeak as a consultant to work on a variety of special projects. With years of experience in launching and marketing products including trade exhibitions and then running the European marketing department at Avid, Jane and Sadie will be working together on helping companies solve a particular business need through a range of marketing and sales tools that they have learnt over the years.

Andy Stout
WRITER
Andy is a freelance writer, editor and copywriter who has been working in the broadcast, post and film industries for longer than he cares to remember. As our writing consultant, we phone him in his rural retreat whenever we need some special word-smithery. When he’s not working on case studies or releases for us, he contributes to most of the major titles covering the industry providing he can fit work in between cricket matches, watching Bath Rugby and playing the drums.
