Events

In 2006 we launched The Conch Sound Awards bringing recognition to the film and television audio post industry. Now in its fourth year, the Conch Awards is an established event in the calendar. 2008 saw the return of the Soho Fun Run and Bubble & Squeak organized this 3-legged race and party in Soho Square, all raising money for Vision Charity. December 2008 was a big day in the Bubble & Squeak event calendar organizing its first Vision Charity Ball, with over 900 guests at the Grosvenor Hotel. Riverdance performing and two auctions it was a great night out. In 2009, Bubble & Squeak continued its work with Vision, with the Soho Fun Run, back by popular demand and December saw the 34th Annual Ball for Vision, which had A Journey to the Orient theme and was hosted by Rory Bremner.

2009 saw the Bubble & Squeak team turn its unique event format to the music production world with the inaugural Music Producers Guild (MPG) Awards at Café De Paris launched in February with over 250 members of the music industry under one roof, celebrating the work of recording professionals and presenting a BRIT award along with an MPG Award to the Producer of the Year.  The event was a real success and has continued to grow and gain support. The 2010 MPG Awards took place on February 11th and was extremely well received.
